Madrid CFF sign Super Falcons star Chidinma Okeke on a 1 year deal

Spanish women club Madrid CFF have completed the signing of Super Falcons defender Chidinma Okeke on a one year deal from Nigeria Women's Premier League side FC Robo Queens.
The 19-year-old superb defender was part of the Nigeria's women national team that crashed out of the 2019 FIFA World Cup tourney in France earlier this year.
Okeke has been on a steady rise in the country having represented Nigeria at the 2016 edition of the U17 FIFA World Cup in Jordan.
Due to her exploit, she got promoted to the country's women U20 national team and was part of the coach Chris Danjuma led team that lost 2-1 to Spain at the FIFA U20 women's World Cup in France last year.
Earlier this year, Okeke proved her quality after helping Nigeria's senior women's team claim the 2019 Wafu Women's Cup at the expense of hosts Cote d'Ivoire.
According to Goal.com, the defender signed the dotted lines after completing medical at the club earlier this month
The publication also revealed that the former NWPL star became Madrid's eighth signing after the arrival of Monica Hickmann, Bruna Tavares, Marie-Laure Delie, Itziar Pinillos, Claudia Blanco, Macarena Portales and Marta Turmo.
Okeke will don the number 17 jersey for her Spanish outfit where she will face compatriot Asisat Oshoala who plays for Barcelona women in the new season.
